Bada takes it to the stage

Bada (바다) is set to become a thespian with her stage debut in October! The singer will be appearing in not one, but two musicals that month.

The first musical is a one-person act entitled Tell Me on a Sunday, while the other is a French musical entitled Notre-Dame de Paris.

The 27-year-old will play the lead in the French musical, which is based on a novel by Victor Hugo. The show reportedly drew 2 million viewers in France and some 10 million viewers in 11 countries since it debuted in 1998.

It was staged in Korea in 2005, but with the original French cast. However, the upcoming production will comprise of Korean actors.

Bada, who is the erstwhile lead vocalist for Kpop trio S.E.S, will undergo training for two weeks from the original cast in France in September.
