The MV for the song was shown to V.I.Ps (fans) in February during Big Bang's 3rd concert The Big Show 2010. Needless to say, the fans responded positively towards the MV.

On May 29, popular Kpop group Big Bang will be in Tokyo, Japan for the MTV World Stage VMAJ 2010. The event will take place at the Yoyogi National Stadium.

Big Bang, who is nominated for 2 trophies, will perform live at the event which will be a combination of both the MTV Video Music Awards Japan and the MTV World Stage.
The boys are nominated for Best New Artist Video (Gara Gara Go!!) and Best Pop Video (Koe wo Kikasete). Reigning Pop Queen Lady Gaga tops the nominations with five nominations for her smash hit Poker Face.

MTV World Stage VMAJ 2010 will broadcast live to over 7.5 million homes through MTV Japan on May 29 at 6pm. The award ceremony will then air worldwide on MTV channels in June 2010.
South Korea’s Hallyu stars gathered at the Lotte World Star Avenue in Songpa-gu, Seoul this morning (Feb 22).

The stars at the event were Rain (real name: Jung Ji-hoon), Song Seung-heon, Jisung, Choi Ji-woo, Park Yong-ha and idol group Big Bang (minus T.O.P.). They donated more of their favourite items to the exhibition hall that already showcases their personal belongings and wardrobe.
Rain's item: 'Here are my fav headphones, complete with my ear wax. Please enjoy.'

Opened in July 2009, the Lotte World Star Avenue is a segmented exhibition hall that showcases items of these select Hallyu stars. It also allows fans to get “in touch” with the stars through e-fan mails.
Shucks, the Star Avenue wasn't opened yet back in 2008, when we made our visit to Seoul. I guess we will have to…visit Seoul again? :-P

South Korea’s Big Bang bagged their second major award in Japan on Dec 30. The quintet walked away with the Best New Artist trophy at the 51st Japan Record Awards. They are the first Koreans to win the award.
The coveted award is given to one of the four recipients of the New Artist Award. This year, Big Bang’s contenders were Japanese artists Maya Sakura, Scandal and Hilchryme.

Previously, the boys made waves at the Japan Cable Broadcasting Awards when they won the Best Newcomer Award. It sure looks like Big Bang, much like TVXQ, will be huge in the land of the rising sun. Big Bang released its first Japanese single My Heaven in June 2009, followed by Gara Gara Go! Their third single was Koe Wo Kikasete. All singles, including their first album, climbed to the top 5 of the Japanese Oricon Music Chart.

In Nov 2009, Big Bang won the Gold Artist Award at the Best Hit music programme on Nihon TV. They also appeared in award ceremonies on TV Asahi and Fuji TV.
The boys will hold concerts back home in Seoul from Jan 29 to 31.
Big Bang's Dae Sung was involved in a serious traffic accident on August 11th, 2009. Dae Sung underwent surgery on August 19th and it looks like our boy will be a-o-kay. He is scheduled to be discharged from hospital by this week.

I've heard a lot about the Tele CinemaProject (텔레시네마). It's time to delve deeper into this and find out more. What is this telecinema project that everyone is talking about?
The "telecinema" project is a Japan-Korea joint production (Japan's Asahi TV and Korea's SBS) where each 120-minute made for TV movies will be aired on television in Korea (via SBS) and in cinemas in Japan. In Korea, they will be aired in two one-hour episodes. Hence, you get the term tele-cinema! Staying true to it being a joint-venture, each installment has a Korean producer and Japanese screenwriter.
It has been reported that there will be a total of ten projects which make up the Telecinema omnibus, and some of them staring famous boy band group members namely TVXQ's Hero Jaejoong, and Big Bang's TOP and Seung-ri. Now, i'm sure you've caught whiff of those! Other famous stars involved are Kang Ji-hwan, Kim Ha-neul, Lee Ji-ah, Ahn Jae-wook, Kang Hye Jung and Daniel Henney.
The Tele Cinema episodes / films will be aired simultaneously in both countries.

This is rather refreshing. Most Korean celebs are so hush-hush about their personal life that you won’t even know they’re dating until say, a bun is in the oven (Kwon Sang-woo – Sohn Tae-young, anyone?).
Anyways, Tablo and Kang Hye-jung have no qualms whatsoever of going public with their relationship and that’s just great :-).
On another note, Big Bang’s Seung-ri makes his movie debut in Why Did You Come to My House?
The quirky flick is about a homeless woman named Lee Soo-kang (Kang) who barges into the home of a man named Byung-hee (Park Hee-soon). She ties him up and spends the whole day looking out the window with a pair of binoculars. Apparently, she’s spying on Byung-hee’s neighbour (played by Seung-ri). What’s going on?

The teaser image for the highly anticipated Korean drama "Iris" (아이리스) has been released. The drama will star Lee Byung-hun, Kim Tae-hee and Big Bang's TOP.
Iris is an action-spy thriller that moves away from the conventional Korean drama fare. The producers hope to draw the audience by incorporating action, romance, espionage and betrayal into the plot. Actors Lee Byung-hun, Kim Tae-hee, Jeong Jun-ho, Kim Seung-soo, Kim So-yeon and TOP make out the splendid cast.
Iris marks Lee Byung-hun's return to the small screen after six years. His last drama project was All In (2003).
Production costs for this big budget drama is 200 billion KRW with overseas filming locations all across Asia and Europe.
The drama has a total of 20 episodes and will be aired on KBS in September!
Big Bang’s Strong Baby Seung-ri (19) will be appearing in a movie entitled Why Did You Come to My House (not to be confused with the 2008 SBS drama of the same name).

Big Bang performed to a sold out concert called Big Show in Seoul on the 30th January, 2009. The concert was held at Seoul's Olympic Park Stadium. Big Bang members are reported to be very happy with the show and thanked their fans for the awesome support and love.

Well, that was the first thing that came to mind when I saw photos of Seung-ri heating up the stage at Mnet’s M Countdown on Jan 8.
The 19-year-old performed his debut solo effort entitled Strong Baby.
Aww, it looks like baby Big Bang is all grown up. Check out the sizzlin’ hot track complete with naughty dance routine and song lyrics! (Note: Seung-ri is replacing the catchy "crack" hook to "clap". I guess he sounds like he's pushing drugs by going "crack" all the time :-P).

Now Seung Ri releases his new solo single Strong Baby (‘스트롱 베이비’). He's more buffed and claims to be a man, but alas, he does not quite reach the mark. Seung Ri looks more comfortable waving a giant fabric lollipop doing the "Wonderboy" thing rather than trying to sell us a strong masculine, sexy image.

Only in his teens - nineteen to be exact (but in Korean age, he's 20), Seung Ri is trying to create a sexier, more mature image in his newly launched MV for Strong Baby. The music video was launched on 01 January, 2009 at 12noon! The MV features fellow Big Bang band mate G-dragon.
