Charismatic Bi at Asia Dream Concert 2009
I'm not exactly what kind of concert it was, but Rain was the most photographed artist at the 12th Boryeong Mud Festival Asia Dream Concert which took place on the 12th July 2009.
Other performers who participated in the concert were Baek Ji Young, 2PM, Davinchi, FT Island, Kra, Zya (from China) and Arirang.

FT Island at Bavi Phat launch
FT Island at the new cosmetics brand (Bavi Phat) launch
It is not uncommon for Korean cosmetics brands to feature male models as their spokesperson. For example, Kwon Sang Woo / Bae Yong Joon for The Face Shop, Rain for Nature Republic, Lee Min Ho for Etude House etc.
New cosmetics brand Bavi Phat (바비펫) have chosen FT Island to help sell their products and attract female consumers. Bavi Phat is new in Korea and the brand is not to be mistaken with Kimora Lee Simmon's Baby Phat brand.
FT Island were at the launch of Bavi Phat's first store in Myeongdong, Seoul on 28 June, 2009. They had a special fan signing session at the launch.

Choi Jong-hun and Oh Won-bin enrol in Gyeonggi University
Yes, a back-to-back post on FT Island!
But enough about spaced out new member Song Seung-hyun.

It has been reported that FT Island leader Choi Jong-hun and former member Oh Won-bin have enrolled themselves in Gyeonggi University on March 2. Both of them are in the music department.
He's my 친구: 'Hey buddy, you know I'm going to copy your work since I'll be real busy with the band, right?'
The freshmen were seen posing chummily for the cameras at the Suwon campus earlier today.
The boys may not be in the same band anymore, but they are now Uni mates. Yay! Friends forever....and all that jazz.
Orientation: 'Gosh, where's the nearest toiletfrom Seminar Room 7 again?'
Star student: 'So you want me to autograph your timetable?Kewl, we have yoga class together.'
Getting to know Song Seung-hyun of FT Island
New FT Island member Song Seung-hyun lives in a world of his own. Hey, we aren’t the ones saying that, his fellow bandmates said so in a recent interview!
Song, who replaces Oh Won-bin of the quintet, revealed that he wants to appear in SBS’s TV show Family Outing.

He said: “I am interested in that kind of show. I especially admire Daesung’s (of Big Bang) character because it is quite interesting. I want to make people laugh with a serious face and manner.”
“I have a routine in my mind but I can't show it now. I wanna dance in a serious manner (on the show). However, I’m not sure if I will really be able to make people laugh,” he continued.
In response to Song’s statement above, the other FT Island members cracked up and jokingly said: “Song is really in the 4th dimension (living in a world of his own) so we are worried that he’ll do something really weird if he appears on the show.”

FT Island was talking to the reporter when shooting their new music video on Feb 2.
When asked to introduce the new member, the boys said: “He’s not just in the 4th dimension, he’s actually in the 16th dimension. His way of talking is really different from ordinary people. He's special and funny," they volunteered.
"He makes really weird sounds when tickled," they added.
Song raps and plays guitar for the band, which is currently promoting their title song Bad Woman off their first mini-album Jump Up.

FT Island represents Litmus
Boyband FT Island – along with their new member Song Seung-hyun – is representing Litmus. The casual clothing brand chose the boys because of their fresh and vibrant image.
Litmus test: FT Island boys in Hybrid Litmus wearIt looks like the investment in the boys is paying off as popularity for Litmus wear has been steadily growing, thanks to FT Island’s fan base.
The change in one of its members has not hampered the band from moving forward.
The FT Island boys released their first mini-album entitled Jump Up on Feb 17. The title song of the album is Bad Woman. Check it out below:

Song Seung-hyun is new FT Island member
He replaces guitarist Oh Won-bin (pic, left).
Whoa so much has happened in K-pop land during our absence.
While the K-popped! Trio were enjoying the cool weather up in the highlands – feasting on scones, drinking tea as well as munching on maize and strawberries, we get this news – FT Island – the band that cancelled their concert in Malaysia at the last minute – has a new line up.
Oh Won-bin bid adios to his bandmates and Song Seung-hyun was named his replacement almost immediately.
The FT Island boys – together with their new member – are currently working on a comeback mini album scheduled for release in mid-February.
