Girl group Jewelry performed Love Story as their final goodbye on SBS Inkigayo on 10 January 2010. It was a very teary performance as two of Jewelry's more well known members, Seo In Young and Park Jung Ah will be leaving the group to pursue solo careers.

Seo has been a member of the group for 8 years while Park joined 9 years ago. Both Seo and Park also modelled for Kimora Lee Simmon's Baby Phat fashion label. K-popped! wishes the girls all the best in their new solo careers.

Ever since i heard that Seo In-young would model for Baby Phat (베이비팻), i was looking foward to see the photos from the shoot. And so it has been released!

Former supermodel, mom and fashion mogul Kimora Lee Simmons will be bringing her fashion label Baby Phat to South Korea. She has chosen Jewelry's Seo In-young and Park Jung-ah as models to express her brands youthful, energetic style. The first of these advertising shoots was held at the end of May.

Both Seo In-young and Park Jung-ah were selected for Baby Phat's Summer 2009 ads because they exude a sexy and intelligent image. Seo and Park will model Baby Phat clothes, bags and shoes in the ad campaign. The clothes and style is targetted to women in the mid-20s. The very wealthy and glamourous Kimora Lee Simmons in the United States is said to be very satisfied with the ads.

Baby Phat will open its first boutique in Apgujung (Seoul's Rodeo Drive) in June.

Oh Ji-ho supports Seo In-young's charity bazaar

Oh Ji-ho donates ₩100,000 to Seo's charity project

Mnet Brand New Friend's Seo In-young held a charity bazaar on May 31 at Apgujeong and guess who turned up to support her efforts?

Oh Ji-ho (don't ask me why he's dressed in baseball uniform) turned up to help sell DVDs, clothes and even donated a cheque for ₩100,000 to Seo's project.

Seo In-young and her Jewelry band mates sold their personal items at the bazaar. From skirts to denim shorts to old DVDs!

Full proceeds of the charity bazaar will be donated to the pediatric ward at Shinchon Severance Hospital, Seoul.

Seo In Young in Paris Hilton-like reality show

Seo In Young is looking for a like-minded person whom she can call her best friend

Seo In Young (26) makes a come back in a reality show much like Paris Hilton's My New Best Friend Forever.

Seo's new reality show is called Seo In-young's Brand New Friend (서인영의 신상 친구), a follow-up to Seo In-young in KAIST (her previous reality show where she became a student at Korea Advanced Institute of Science & Technology)

Seo talks about her new show saying, "I decided to come back to a reality program because I thought making a friend is a form of adventure in an age where it is so difficult to find someone you can fully trust."

The show started on May 14 on Korea's cable channel M.net. Twelve hopefuls will be given tasks and one unfortunate soul will be eliminated each week. The last survivor will become Seo's best friend.

A total of 5,000 people applied to be part of the show. Seo reasons that many of the applicants want to become celebrities themselves and isn't really that keen on becoming her best friend. She says, "Many people try to befriend you based on your background, rather than taking you as you are. That's especially true among celebrities. In the show, I will try to find someone who can really understand and like me."

The 12 candidates...which one will become Seo In Young's BFF?

Spanish brand MANGO (망고) opened it's flagship store in Myeongdong, Seoul on April 29. Well, we've had this brand on our shores for years but i have been told that they didn't have it in Seoul...well, they do now!

The Music Bank host & Jewelry group member is taking a much needed break in America. Many have been wondering about In-young since no one heard any news on her since she boarded a plane and headed to New York in mid-February.

Since everyone was worried that In-young might have disappeared from the public eye for good, she posted these pictures taken on the 25th Feb with the title "No Problem" on her minihompy. She's doing all right.

The singer who made popular the female bowl cut Seo In Young (서인영) is getting ready to go for a long vacation in the USA. She will stop all her local (Korean) activities soon. Seo, who is currently hosting KBS's Music Bank will be handing over the mic to a new host after 9th January.

Seo In Young also left MBC's We Got Married and recorded her last show for SBS Ya Shim Man Man on Dec 14, 2008. She is preparing for a 2 month vacation in America. According to the article, she plans to re-charge physically during her break and the trip will also enable her to improve herself. A vacation cum self upgrade in the States!

the 31st August, 4pm, Gangnam, Seoul

Autumn has arrived in Seoul. Singer Seo In Young (winner of 2008 O'live Style Icon Awards - Female singer category) arrives at the DVF (Diane von Fürstenberg) fashion show in a sleeveless calf length black dress, black leggings and stole (probably a DVF outfit).

Diane von Furstenberg (다이안 본 퍼스텐버그) is a European designer well known for her iconic wrap dresses (oh what i would do to own one). In the 1970's she removed the zipper and the buttons from womens dresses, creating the wrap dress. The dress became an instant hit and she sold 5 million of those dresses, making a name for herself in the world-wide fashion industry. Till today the original DVF wrap dress is a fashion statement.

Most stylish on the orange carpet goes too...Seo In Young!

Korea's first Style Icon Awards was held on the 30th October at 10pm, Club Answer in Gangnam, Seoul. The award ceremony selected 10 top trend setters in 2008 from cultural, artistic and social spectrum of life.

To make the event different from the rest, the guest arrived on an orange carpet, instead of the usual Red Carpet. Many played it safe and arrived in boring black outfits.

Rain (Jung Ji Hoon) arrived stylishly on the orange carpet dressed in an expensive black suit. He wore a round necked t-shirt and scarf to create a laid back look. Although I don't think the cute bowl cut hairstyle goes with the outfit.
