After making their comeback stage on July 2 on Music Bank and promoting their new single from the repackage album, Super Junior's No Other MV was released by SM Entertainment through the official Youtube channel.
The MV portrayed a "Love" theme. The boys showed their mature but cute image this time.

Super Junior's Kangin enlists for military duty
Super Junior member, Kangin or real name Kim Youngwoon, enlisted for military duty on July 5 at 1pm (KST). About 400 fans from around the world gathered at the ChooNam NonSan Centre since 7am to bid farewell to the talent.
Around 1.15pm (KST), Kangin and the other SuJu members arrived. Kangin and several of his bandmates were seen shedding tears for their impending separation.
Kangin finally entered the training camp at around 1.45pm. He will be discharged from the South Korean army on April 16, 2012.
The 25 year old is suspended from all SuJu activities by his talent agency and was slapped with a US$8,000 fine by the court because of his DUI / hit-and-run accident in 2009. Thus, his enlistment is pretty good timing, actually.
Goodbye Kangin, ELFs are so gonna count down the days until April 16, 2012.

No Other but Super Junior
Super Junior will end promotions for Bonamana today on Music Bank's Goodbye Stage (5.40pm Malaysia time), but there's still good news for E.L.Fs. The band has already released their follow-up track, No Other from The 4th Repackaged Album.
The song is currently available on Korean music sharing sites such as Soribada, Melon, Bugs and Dosirak. No Other is a synth pop dance number with an R&B beat. It was produced by Reefa and C-2 -- who has produced for The Game, Fabulous and Ludacris -- as well as Ryan Jhun. The lyrics were written by Kenzie.
The 4th Repackaged Album contains 4 new songs and has tracks that were composed by some of the SuJu members. Leeteuk (the group's leader) and Henry (SuJu M) co-wrote the track All My Heart while Donghae and Eunhyuk co-wrote A Short Journey. Kangin, the troubled SuJu member who will be enlisting for military duty in July, has even recorded for A Short Journey.
Want to listen to No Other? Hit this link.
My two cents: The song is a feel-good track. I don't fully understand the lyrics but the music is sweet. It isn't as catchy as Bonamana or Sorry Sorry but I'm loving the song as it has a slow and soothing beat to it...and thank God, there's no autotune!

Super Junior The 3rd Asia Tour kicks off in August 2010
Its back! Super Junior will kick off their Super Show 3rd Asia Tour on Aug 14 and 15. The news was confirmed by both the group's leader, Leeteuk via Twitter, and Yesung at his Cyworld.
In early June, it was reported that Super Junior will start touring Asia again in August. The Super Show 3 is set to kick off at the Olympic Park Stadium in Seoul and include 13 cities such as Kuala Lumpur (awesome! - Liz), Singapore, Bangkok, Beijing, Shanghai, Taipei and Manila.
This time around, the concert will only feature 10 out of the full 13 SuJu members.
The members who will be sitting it out are: Hankyung, who is still in a legal tussle with SM Entertainment; Kangin, who will be serving his compulsory military duty for 2 years beginning July, and Kibum, who hasn't been active as a SuJu member since the group's 3rd album because he is "busy with acting".
Thirteen member or not, we say, let the SHOW begin!

Super Junior says Victory Korea!
Super Junior cheers on the South Korean football / soccer team with the Victory Korea video below.
According to allkpop, the song will also be used for Dreams Come True, a flick about North and South Korean border guards coming together for their love of soccer. Well, the sport isn’t called The Beautiful Game for nothing :-).
After watching the video, are you inspired to cheer on the South Korean team?

Super Junior’s Bonamana MV
Yessss! It has a little bit of a Bollywood flavor to it. Bo-na-mana, Bo-na-mana, Bo-na-mana. See those heads and hips shake!
Watch the MV below:
South Korea’s Super Junior makes a return to the Kpop scene with their 4th album entitled Beauty. The first track released from the album is Bonamana.
Originally 13 members, the group returns as 10…yet I believe that that’s not going to stop them from summiting the Kpop music charts. As 10 members, SuJu’s still making waves.
Here’s a brief about the other 3 no-shows: Troubled member Kangin was fined for a hit and run accident and is planning to enlist for military duty since he is suspended from all activities; Hankyung – the China import – is in a legal tussle with SM Entertainment, the talent agency behind the boys while Kibum has not been active as a member since 2009, preferring to pursue acting.

Super Junior teases with Beauty for 4th album comeback
South Korea’s mega boyband Super Junior is about to unleash their 4th album, and here is the prerequisite MV teaser.
The boys, who are returning as 10 members (originally 13), have stuck to the black and white concept, similar to their Sorry, Sorry (the 3rd album) personas.
The 4th album is entitled Beauty (미인아) …but what does Bonamana mean? (Hit play to find out what I'm talking about.)
Time will only tell. And that time is May 10 at 10am.

SuJu member Kangin plans to enlist for military duty
I think that’s a good move, considering how he can’t participate in any of the super boyband’s activities.
Troubled Super Junior member Kangin will not make a comeback with his bandmates come May 13. While fellow SuJu members are busy practicing for their 4th album comeback, Kangin is planning to complete his two-year compulsory military duty.
The 25 year old was slapped with a US$8,000 fine and suspended from all activities due to his DUI / hit- and-run accident in 2009.
His talent agency SM Entertainment said that while it is true that Kangin is planning to enlist for duty, the exact time and date has not been finalized.
We wish you the best, Kangin. Come back stronger...and wiser :-).

Choi Si-won is a gentleman
Staff at Elle who worked with Super Junior hunk Choi Si-won called him “a man with manners” because of his fantastic attitude.
The 23 year old, who toplines the drama Oh My Lady, did a photoshoot with Elle webzine recently. During the shoot, Choi relaxed by listening to his ipod but was very professional throughout the session.
He asked the staff about the theme of the photoshoot and answered all interview questions sincerely. The young man credited SuJu for where he is today. “Actor Choi Si-won is here because of Super Junior. I can’t give both Super Junior and acting up.”
Choi also revealed his plans after his drama ends.
He said: “I want to travel with my family when the drama is done. As I get older, I feel that the best thing I can do is to make my parents happy.”
For the photoshoot, Choi showed both his charismatic and boyish looks. He sure looks good in the pics ;-).

Super Junior boys on Twitter
Are you following them? I don’t know about you, but I’m getting a kick out of the tiny glimpses into their daily lives. To date, I’m following Shindong, Donghae and Siwon. However, I don't think Siwon's account is authentic anymore.
Shindong is by far the most active on Twitter, tweeting bits and pieces of information such as his Danish diet, how boring he feels, the iPhone game he’s playing (get on We Rule peeps!), where he is etc.
When Shindong tweeted about Donghae joining Twitterverse earlier today, he said: "Finally, Super Junior has 2 people on Twitter! I took this (pic below) with Donghae before we left for the Philippines. Yahoo! Yep! Yep!"
So only two SuJu boys have Twitter? That rules out Siwon's account...unless Shindong doesn't consider Siwon part of the group? :-P Hee hee, impossible.
Donghae joined Twitterverse today and his latest tweets were about arriving in the Philippines. Super Junior is currently there for their final Super Show 2.

Dr. St. Hobbo Oppa Shin Hyun-jun?
At about 2pm today (Apr 9) Donghae tweeted: “Arrived in the Philippines. Going for rehearsals now. Many fans came out to greet us at the airport today! Will work hard during the rehearsals. Will work hard for tomorrow’s concert too! Wait for it!”
Meanwhile, for Siwon's I'm-not-sure-it's-authentic-account, it mostly has pictures of himself – hanging out with his family, on the set of his new drama Oh! My Lady etc.
Siwon "tweets" in English. And his last tweet was on his birthday on Apr 7. He said: "Thank you everyone for your love & support! Today is a day of celebration & a day of thanksgiving to our LORD! Thank you Jesus for making me so hot!"
Err...OK, Siwon's hot but did he really tweet that last bit? :-P
Anyhoo, to follow the SuJu boys, hit the following links for Shindong: @ShinsFriends, Donghae: @donghae861015 and (at your own risk :-D) Siwon: @Choi_SW

Along with his pic, the Oh My Lady star wished everyone “Happy Easter”.

Galaxie gives away SuJu’s Super Show 2 Live album

If you want to get your hands on this superb double CD, I suggest you get the latest copy of Galaxie (April 1 – 15 issue) @ RM5. The local entertainment glossy is giving away not one, but 10 copies of the CDs!
Also, heads up to all K-popped! readers. If you enjoyed reading my SuJu Malaysia concert review online, do pick up the upcoming April 16 – 30 issue of Galaxie as well. I’ve written a more concise review for the magazine and it will be published in that issue :-).
Yup, Liz K-popped gets to make a tiny contribution to Malaysia's mainstream press…all in the name of spreading the love for Hallyu in our country. Kpop hwaiting!

Super Junior performs to 45,000 in Vietnam
And it’s for such a good cause!
A week after their Super Show 2 concert in Malaysia, Super Junior descended upon Hanoi, Vietnam for an electrifying performance on March 27.
The boys were there to kick off the MTV EXIT Live in Vietnam concert series. Their starpower was undeniable as 45,000 fans flocked to the My-Dinh stadium to see the boys in action. It was reportedly one of the largest crowds to attend a concert in the Southeast Asian nation!
This spells nothing but good news as MTV EXIT’s purpose is to raise awareness about human trafficking, a crime that is impacting millions worldwide.
“This is our first ever performance in Vietnam and we were thrilled to perform for such a huge crowd in Hanoi,” said the members of SuJu. “We are excited to join the MTV EXIT campaign to inspire young people across Asia to join the fight against human trafficking.
Other performers included Australian pop starlet Kate Miller-Heidke and Vietnamese singing sensation Ha Anh Tuan.
The Hanoi concert was the first of four that MTV EXIT will be holding in Vietnam over the next 3 weeks. Special programs combining concert footage as well as information about human trafficking will be broadcast on MTV channels internationally.
For details on the full concert tour, go to www.mtvexit.org.

Review: Super Junior Super Show 2 concert in Malaysia – Part 2
Photos by Orchid
Liz K-popped, who was at Super Junior’s Super Show 2 in Malaysia, continues her review on the sell-out concert. The show, which is currently the talk of the town, seems to have breathed new life into the Korean wave (Hallyu) in Malaysia.
정말 감사합니다 수퍼주니어!
Read Part 1 here.
Press play – Disc 2
After singing another one of their faster hits (Twins), Super Junior slowed things down with Our Love. The boys were rather playful during this bit as Sungmin brought out a video cam to record his friends while they sang their parts. Heechul, the diva of the group, pushed Kyuhyun to the side and dominated the stage during the latter’s part. Fans screamed in delight.
Things got weird when the boys covered Peter, Paul and Mary’s Puff the Magic Dragon.

While poor Kyuhyun (I like this guy, he’s so hardworking…and he’s the youngest of the lot at 22!) sang the kiddie song (pic, far left), the boys, led by Heechul in a green dragon suit, fooled around behind him in large insect / animal costumes (pic, centre). It looked like the boys were in a children’s programme.
Eunhyuk, while wrestling with a snake (pic, right), did the famous Kara butt dance for Mister. The fans, again, went wild.
Next, five of the singers namely Shindong, Eeteuk, Kyuhyun, Donghae and Eunhyuk busted some moves for the dance interval before Henry took centre stage again (minus violin) with his self-composed Sick of Love.

Siwon popped out for his solo wearing his faith on his sleeve when he belted out Who Am I (by Casting Crowns). The 23 year old commendably sang in English…but honestly, it was difficult to make out what he was singing, except for the pre-chorus which got me singing along.
Next, ELFs were thrilled when SuJu M, including Zhou Mi, sang their Mandarin songs Blue Tomorrow and Super Girl.

A sweet moment followed in Shining Star as the boys got to really connect with fans. Sitting on stools at strategic locations all across the stage, the boys serenaded the crowd while soaking in their fans’ love.
What a touching moment, so much so that Eeteuk (the group’s leader) ended up in tears.
Yup, take it all in guys, take it all in. SuJu has sure come a long way since debuting in 2005.

After a smokin’ R&B Sorry Sorry – Answer video interlude, the boys – looking absolutely dashing in white suits – appeared on stage again for their latest hit Sorry, Sorry.
By then, the energy had somewhat fizzled and SuJu didn’t quite nail the song. It was bland. For a kick from that track, I suggest watching the music video.

Things got weirder when five of the boys dressed up as girls – with Heechul leading the way (of course) – to parody labelmate f(x). They sang Chu.

The show became self-indulgent when the boys seemed more interested in fooling around than performing. It was soon a blur of shoving and prancing around on stage. The concert ended with Pajama Party but SuJu returned for 3 encores.
The encore was a whirlwind of props and costumes as the boys brought out their water guns, fuzzy animal hats and mechanical toys. It officially turned into a super carnival (just like their song, huh?). I glazed over.

and mechanical cymbal-banging monkey
SuJu then gave a shout out to all their Asian fans – Indonesia, Vietnam, Hong Kong, Thailand and even China were represented at the concert. For the heck of it Siwon asked “America?” and the crowd did not respond which prompted him to say: “Asians are one.”
Eeteuk then mentioned that the group is working on their 4th album and asked the fans to go: “사집 대박” (The 4th album will be awesome) and asked Siwon to tell the fans (in Siwon’s English): “(We) appreciate about coming to our concert.”

Awww, we appreciate you guys for coming to Malaysia too, but maybe next time, less fooling around onstage towards the end and finish the show strong.

The SuJu boys ended their Super Show 2 in Malaysia with the fan-pleasing Marry U. Oh, thank you very much…but I don’t know you that well ;-).
