The May Lee Show lacks sponsors

While The May Lee Show is reportedly getting good reviews (but I didn't like it) and high ratings, its future is still uncertain because of a lack of sponsors.

The show's host, Korean-American May Lee said: "If this were a men's show about cars, or whatever, I would easily get sponsors."

The 41-year-old was talking to the Asian Wall Street Journal on Monday about the program where she serves as the show's host and executive producer.

Before hosting her own program, Lee has had an illustrious career as a news anchor with major broadcasters such as CNN and ABC. The media entrepreneur now finds the business aspect of producing her own show stressful. "I think I would have been more prepared that I was going to go through a phase of loneliness, of depression," she said.

The May Lee Show’s first season was aired in Singapore, Hong Kong, Malaysia, Thailand, and the Philippines.

May Lee blogs at the show's official site and her latest entry is an interesting piece about being overworked.
