Korean title: 봄의 왈츠 (Bom-eui Wal-cheu)
What's popping:
So, Spring Waltz has danced its way to one of our local terrestrial TV networks, huh? I don't really know who the lead is, this Seo Do-young (서도영) fella, but the heroine Han Hyo-joo (한효주) is kinda cute.
Of course, the romance between the two isn’t a bed of roses and the couple's thorn in the flesh comes in the form of Seo’s character’s former lover, played by Lee So-yeon (이소연).
Daniel Henney plays the 4th lead and since he doesn't get to speak English with a co-star here, he stands around perfecting the deaf and dumb act.
However, I've only seen, like, 45 minutes of the drama (from two different episodes, no less!) so I can't say much about the cast's performance. I don't like watching it because it's dubbed in Mandarin.
Synopsis:
Childhood sweethearts Sunho and Eunying find life pulling them apart, yet in adulthood, when they are with their respective partners, they find that fate is reuniting them.
Watch it:
- TV2 (Free TV, yay!)
- Monday to Thursday
- 6pm to 7pm
- Dubbed in Mandarin with Bahasa Malaysia subtitles
