South Korean stars support World Vision's 24 Hour Famine

World Vision's 24 Hour Famine project gets support from Korean celebrities and the SBS network.

Among the celebs lending their starpower to the cause are You're My Destiny actress Jeong Ae-ri, Coffee Prince actor Lee Seon-gyun, Tazza actress Han Ye-seul and Kim Hyo-jin.

The stars visited people groups in Africa and South-East Asia for a special program to bring awareness and raise funds for the various issues plaguing the communities.

...and sheds a tear while praying with a Ugandan

Lee Seon-gyun of Coffee Prince goes to the Republic of Burundi...

...and spends time with the children from one of the 10 poorest
countries in the world


Han Ye-seul of Tazza goes to Senegal...

...to help highlight the water issue in the country

Kim Hyo-jin goes to Laos...

...to help the fight in the loss of eyesight

Apart from that, a 24-hour concert for the cause will be held on Sept 19 and 20 at the Sung Kyun Kwan University. Among those who will be performing are Park Jung-ah, SHINee, SG Wannabe, Davichi and Battle.

A TV special on the campaign will be aired on Korea's SBS network on Oct 3 & 4.

I'm really glad they stepped out of their 'comfort' zone to see those who are less fortunate, this is something that I think all of us should do once a year so that we don't become too comfortable and spoiled.
