What's it like at the Pusan International Film Festival?

The 13th Pusan International Film Festival (PIFF) is now in full swing. We see celebrities arriving at the red carpet on opening night decked in glamorous gowns and men dressed smartly in suits. The PIFF held at Korea's 2nd largest city Busan runs from 02 - 10 October.

This year, the film festival is focusing on local films under the catch-phrase "Way to go, Korea!". This time around the festival will showcase 15 Korean features. The closing film of the event will be "I am Happy" by director Yoon Jong-chan and starring Hyun Bin. The psychiatric drama is based on a novel by Korean literary giant, the late Lee Chong-jun.

For more on the movies of this year's PIFF, go to the article by Nigel D'sa on Korean Film.

With the PIFF being held annually at Busan, i am wondering how it would be like to attend such a festival. If you have been to the festival, please share your experience with us.
