i can't wait to see this!
What's with the perm on that tall guy.
i'm thrilled and apprehensive at the same time!
i LOVED the Japanese version.
so I'd probably compare them without even realizing it.
who is playing Makino?
Inoue Mao was exceptional as Makino and in my opinion, she's a big part of why HYD was such a success.
i'm anticipating this as well but frankly Hanadan is still my favourite. Let's see if Lee Min-ho could act as well as MatsuJun. And Inoue Mao definitely outstanding.
Btw K-popped, wanna ask if you know why they did not air The Kingdom of the Winds in Malaysia?

No offense but seriously, seriously, seriously ~ I've never seen such an unattractive bunch playing such famous characters.
I mean, they know there's bound to be comparison and yet... yet... never mind...
Dang, I can't watch it. I am so going to buy the cd when it come out or just watch it on the internet but if the drama is really good then maybe i'll buy it.lol.
I'm anticipating Kim Bum's role the most! xDD
but yeah, the F4 guys are really the 'kkotminam' in Korea. So I guess all the girls (especially teenagers) will stick themselves in front of the TV for this!
@dottie,
personally i think they're alot better looking than hanadan boys. no, i'm not putting down hanadan, but honestly at first i was shocked to see the F4 in hanadan. but their well performance and good script, the story win my heart.
but i think these guys are better with normal outfit. not that suit. it makes them looks weird.
I'm really excited to watch this drama ! They are all reasonably good looking and look fit for their roles.
OMIGAAAAAAAAWDD !!
CAN SEE HYUNJOONG ON KBS ! <33
VEEEEEEERRY EXCITED !!!
ah welll...dont anticipate so much of it... u know what happened to The World They Live In? so much anticipation that it fall flat on expectation...
I just wish it havent ended yet though... Boys Before Flower is airing on 5th January 2009, so there must be hope for TWTLI to air up to 20th episode... sigh... anticipating,..... hoping.... heeeee
OMO. I love the Korean Rui+Shizuka couple.. they look soo good together. Just looking at the pics, i already fall in love with the korean Rui! Flower4 boys fighting!!cant wait.
@ me said..
I have the same feeling with you. I was also thinking that the hanadan boys were so not good looking.. but after watching the drama, i was like, who cares if they are not good looking, they story is addicting enough for me to get hooked.. and matsumoto has this funny comic expression most of th time, haha. Btw, Inoue Mao impressed me the most.. she's such a great actress..
okay.. the only cute guy there is the brown haired one.. and seriously, in this korean version is the girl being portrayed as flirty? that's what you'll actually get from the promotional pics/posters. i thought she was supposed to have a tough character (a bit boy-ish too at first) then slowly warms/softens up...
yay... can't wait for it!!! after i got a MG fever than Hanadan and now Kgotboda Namja...
@Dottie
Can't say I agree w/ you at all. On the contrary to your opinions, I actually think the Korean cast is overall better looking than the Japanese one, but maybe not quite better than the Taiwanese F4.
That said, the Japanese version was overall superior in production. Inoue Mao & Matsumoto Jun <333333
The story is just a classic that grips you in all sorts of random ways. I ain't no teenager anymore but I will def be catching this one as soon as I can!!!
I loved the jdorama version and in that version the casting was good.
Inoue Mao was a perfect Makino but I'm quite unsure over the korean actress (she looks to cute and not sassy enough)
Let's just wait and see how it is.
