Lee Bo-young - not just a pretty face

An actress with a big heart

Actress Lee Bo-young (Story Sadder Than Sadness, Queen of the Game, Mr Good-bye) is very active in charity work. She is a UNICEF Goodwill Ambassador and spends a lot of her time attending charity events.

Lee (30) was recently at a UNICEF fund-raiser event in aid of protecting the environment.

Lee was also at the National Theater and took part in a charity walk - where she walked barefoot, in the rain. Despite the foul weather, Lee participated happily. The proceeds of the event will go to the support of children in Africa - to prevent them from malnutrition.

In addition to that, Lee was also at a UNICEF charity bazaar, selling items to help poor children. She even donated some of her stuff for the bazaar.

She's one actress who has a relatively low profile, despite having worked with some of the hottest leading men such as Kwon Sang-woo (Story sadder than sadness), Hyun Bin (I'm Happy), Joo Jin-moo (Queen of the Game) and Ahn Jae-wook (Mr Good-bye). I have only seen her in Queen of the Game and Mr Good-bye and really like her character in the latter.
