FT Island at the new cosmetics brand (Bavi Phat) launch
It is not uncommon for Korean cosmetics brands to feature male models as their spokesperson. For example, Kwon Sang Woo / Bae Yong Joon for The Face Shop, Rain for Nature Republic, Lee Min Ho for Etude House etc.
New cosmetics brand Bavi Phat (바비펫) have chosen FT Island to help sell their products and attract female consumers. Bavi Phat is new in Korea and the brand is not to be mistaken with Kimora Lee Simmon's Baby Phat brand.
FT Island were at the launch of Bavi Phat's first store in Myeongdong, Seoul on 28 June, 2009. They had a special fan signing session at the launch.

What does Bavi Phat mean? And why does it have to resemble Baby Phat by the name? They're pronouncing Bavi as Babi, so... hrmm.

And I agree Ki, it is way to close to baby phat...too confusing for the buyer!
