A look at the Korean Wave Contest auditions

Wanna see some raw Malaysian talent in action?

We reported on the Korean Wave Contest (KWC) auditions earlier. However, here’s a short video of what went on in the audition room, which until now, was only witnessed by authorized personnel.



Eleven finalists were chosen from 40 over hopefuls for Malaysia’s inaugural KWC, which seeks to uncover fresh talents that are influenced by the rising Hallyu in our country. The winners of the contest will win tour packages to South Korea courtesy of Korea Tourism Organization.

Some of the finalists that appear in the video above are:

The finalists have about a month to practice before the final showdown on May 15. If you fancy catching them live, come over to KL Live, Jalan Sultan Ismail. Showtime is from 2pm – 4pm. Admission is FREE.
