Jeju Island - Island of the Gods

I was listening to the radio the other day, and in conjunction with Malaysia celebrating her 50th Birthday (Happy Birthday Malaysia!), the radio DJs were talking about "What makes Malaysia rock!". One of the reasons is that we are blessed with so many beautiful islands (pulau). Such as Pulau Perhentian (Terengganu), Pulau Tioman (Pahang), Pulau Langkawi (Kedah), Pulau Redang (Terengganu) and Pulau Rawa (Johor).

South Korea has one island that is very famous. I've heard lots about it, but have not been there. So if you have vacationed on Jeju Island, do tell us more. Here's some info on the famous Korean island.

Jeju Island a.k.a. Cheju Island is located at the southern tip of the Korean Peninsular. Recently, its name has been changed to Jeju Special Self-Governing Province.

It is a very popular vacation spot for Koreans, Japanese and tourists who visit South Korea. Jeju island is also one of the top honeymoon destination for Korean couples.
