Rain joins fight against human trafficking

The Energizer Bunny is set to join the battle against human trafficking through global music network MTV and the U.S. Agency for International Development. (Yesss!!!!)

A 30-minute documentary, which will be produced in eight languages and narrated by international stars, is scheduled for broadcast in September.

Rain a.k.a Jung Ji-hoon and Thai sensation Tata Young have been selected to narrate in their native Korean and Thai respectively.

The documentary aims to raise awareness on anti-trafficking and educate the public on how to oppose businesses that exploit and traffic human beings.

According to KBS Global, the Energizer Bunny recently said that he is honoured to take part in the anti-trafficking campaign and wants to help those fighting against it. He then pointed out that the sad reality of human trafficking is that most of the victims are women and children.

MTV Exit (End Exploitation and Trafficking) is behind the campaign, which has successfully raised anti-trafficking awareness in Europe. Hollywood stars such as Angelina Jolie and Helena Christensen took part in the European campaign.
