Orchid wrote about the sights, Liz wrote about the stars… all that activity sure makes me hungry.
While gallivanting around the Wudaokou area ogling at all things Korean, we stumbled upon this quaint little alley lined with Korean eateries.

lined by the windows adjacent to the kitchen for their eat-in patrons.

Not good when you're starved as the urge to order everything crosses your mind.

If you’re ever in the area and would like to check out what we’re talking about, this is how you get there. From the Wudaokou subway station (although not really a subway as the train is elevated this far out of Beijing) head east down Chengfu Road (成府路), across the train tracks and scan the shops to your left, you won’t miss it!

Oh yeah, this was a fun lunch! My fav dish for that meal was the Seoul kimbap. The tuna in it added 'oomph' to the flavour :-)
The hole-in-the-wall setting is also such a novelty! You won't get that in hot and humid Malaysia because patrons would be sweating buckets, the place would stink up and everyone would suffocate before they start ordering ;-P.
Shrek Kimbap - yeah i like this place very much. Simple and affordable and the food's pretty good. So glad we found it.
I like the toilet rolls hanging on the wall providing tissues to customers. The place is so narrow and all you have to do is to reach behind you for it.
The kimchi here is one of the best i've taken too. Crunchy and nice!
The kimbaps look delicious.
*___* I LOVE udon noodles.
