Joon Park in two Hollywood productions next year

Erstwhile g.o.d. member Park Joon-hyung will be appearing in not one, but TWO Hollywood productions next year.

Joon Park tells us he's in two, yes TWO
Hollywood...hey, he's showing us four fingers.
Someone needs arithmetic lessons.

Yup, the 38-year-old, who is known as Joon Park and grew up in California, is set to appear in Speed Racer as well as Dragonball.

The former is a Wachowski Brothers-directed flick, which is scheduled for release on May 9, 2008 Stateside (May 8 in Malaysia). Rain also appears in the movie.

The latter is a flick directed by James Wong (Final Destination 3) and produced by Stephen Chow (Kung-Fu Hustle). The cast includes Justin Chatwin (War of the Worlds) and Emily Rossum (Phantom of the Opera). Dragonball is scheduled for release on Aug 15, 2008 Stateside.

Apparently, Heroes actor James Kyson Lee was rumoured to play Yamcha in the movie, but the role eventually went to Joon Park.

Waaay before we got K-popped! Park was known as the rapper for g.o.d., but the talent has recently moved to Los Angeles to pursue his acting career.

Here's a rundown of other Korean actors appearing in Hollywood productions next year. Do you know of any who isn't on the list?
