Perhaps influenced by the huge success of medical dramas like Grey's Anatomy and House in the States, Korean drama script writers have moved from the usual romance themes to medical action dramas.
New Heart (뉴하트) is a medical drama depicting the lives of doctors from the cardio-thorasic department in a hospital. The cast is unknown to me though.
The new MBC drama starts broadcasting in Korea on 12 December, 2007.

Oh, I know...he was in "Save the last dance for me" with Kim Eugene. But, I don't know who the other people are though.
Is it just me or does the guy on the right look kinda Indian? That'd be a fair portrayal of doctors in the US :-P
I read before that Korean dramas aren't doing as well because people would rather download popular American shows off the internet because they like the storyline and flow of the series better, which makes me wonder. Is this gonna be aired like a Korean drama with 16 hr long episodes- almost commercial free revolving around pretty much 1 story and one plot through out the whole 16 hours (with maybe a side story or 2) or like an American with 13 episodes chopped up by MANY commercial breaks and more than 1 story to follow with a different plot every episode.
Because I think if Korea adjusted slightly towards the latter it'd make their dramas more enjoyable (for me at least) 16 hours of the same thing can get to be a bit much >_<;;
yeah..the guy from the left is the lead actor for save the last dance..the gal i think she acted in fashion 70's..about the another guy..havent seen him b4..

that guy on the left is most definitely ji sung but i guess he plays the part of lee eun sung. i think you have the other names mixed up because on wiki they have:
Jo Jae Hyun as Choi Kang Gook
Ji Sung as Lee Eun Sung
Kim Min Jung as Nam Hye Suk

Jo Jae Hyun has mostly acted in movies. he's quite a favourite of Kim Ki Duk since he had been casted in the director's films so many times (Crocodile, Address Unknown, Bad Guy and Wild Animals). i think his most recent film is Im Kwon Taek's Beyond the Years. i've seen him in two dramas so far, Piano (with Kim Ha Neul, Go Soo and Jon In Sung) and Snowman (he acted as Gong Hyo Jin's brother in love with whom she fell in love with). i think he's even a bigger star than the other casts in the drama.
I love Ji Sung in the Save the Last Dance. I also watched the female lead in Untold Scandal. She was very pretty and alluring in it. As to Dr. Choi, I've seen him in a movie about pansori music. It was lovely.
you all should watch this series, it's very very good. It's very different from other romance korean drama! I just adore Jing Sung in here, I think he did an amazing job!!!
