Below is a picture of old rockers band called "Sanulrim". Do you recognize any of them?

The one in the middle plays Kwon Sang-woo's "samchun" (whom we affectionately call on this blog) in the Korean drama Bad Love. His character is called Hwang In-soo (황인수).

Samchun's real name is Kim Chang-wan (김창완). He is a member of the Korean rock trio Sanulrim (산울림). The name of the group means "Mountain Echo" in Korean and the three members are all brothers. Kim Chang-wan, the oldest, sang vocals and played guitar, while Kim Chang-hun played rhythm guitar, bass and keyboards and Kim Chang-ik played the drums.
Sanulrim debutted in 1977 with the album "Anibeolsseo" (Ah! Already?) and went on to release many other hit songs over the next 30 years ranging from rock songs, ballads to children's songs.
Kim Chang-wan is currently active as a musician and actor in Korea. He starred in the hit dramas "Behing the White Tower" and "Coffee Prince" (Which character? Anyone knows?). Of course we all know him as "samchun" in "Bad Love".
Well, one of the brothers (the youngest) Kim Chang-ik (50) passed away in Vancouver, Canada. The cause of death has not been confirmed.

yup, he's the manager of the Coffee Prince. The one who taught Eun Chan the basics of coffee making. He does have sanitation problems though. hahaha! he's disgusting in some of the scenes. ewww!
I've read Kim Chang Wan's brother had ran over a some sort of construction vehicle. Kim went to Vancouver to attend the funeral and might not be in next week's episode.

there's a scene where he sings a song while playing guitar in Coffee Prince. quite a nice voice he got. and if i'm not mistaken, there is one song that he composed for the Coffee Prince OST. i also like Kim Dong Wook's voice (Ha Rim) when he sang a Kim Kwang Seok's song on the Special Episode of Coffee Prince.
Yep his definitely the Manager Mr. Hong, I like his character in Coffee Prince. His not that rich but he gives what he can. He lets Ha Rim and Sunki stay with him for less than what they expected. He gave Eun Chan money to pay for their rent. He looks out for the gang although he sometimes takes advantage of them but his heart is in the right place. Come on guys watch this drama already. Its like your missing half of your life.
