After a refreshing break in New York, Bae Yong-joon - the seller of overpriced lunchboxes (OK, this is the last time I will refer to his really expensive lunchboxes) - is currently in Japan.
The 36-year-old superstar arrived in Osaka at about 4.40pm on May 30 and received a warm welcome. He was seen wielding a camera and happily snapping pictures of his fans.
About 6,000 fans turned up at the airport to greet him! We are betting a BYJ lunchbox that they are mostly made up of ajummas.

The Top Hallyu star is in Japan for the Taewangsasingi Premium Event, a promotional event to plug his highly-popular drama series Taewangsasingi (The Legend) :-).
The Premium Event, which will be held at the Kyosera Dome, Osaka on June 1 will also be telecast live to 13 movie theatres via satellite. That's because many fans were not able to purchase tickets to the event.
Tickets went on sale May 25, but they were all snapped up within 18 minutes!

Expensive lunchboxes aside, I cannot deny that Mr. Bae is definitely a news maker. It is estimated that 40,000 Japanese will be enjoying the Premium Event proceedings through the telecast.
Man, what starpower.

Mr Bae is nice to his fans. He obliges photo requests, albeit with at least 2 fans each time. That's how he ensures "longevity" in the biz even though he has minimum projects. Some of his Kpop colleagues should learn from him. The Energizer Bunny is one of them.
I know a Korean fan who likes Mr Bae and Energizer Bunny. She had a lot of good things to say about Mr Bae but none about Energizer Bunny. And she is one of the nicest people I know.
It is good to know that Mr Bae is such a huge star yet still appreciates his fans.
