2007 Miss Korea, Lee Ji-seon held a press conference at the Lotte Hotel in Seoul at 10am today. The Korean beauty and her professional coach named Ines Ligron appeared to the press together.
Believe it or not, Ligron is coaching both Miss Korea and Miss Japan Hiroko Mami for this year's pageant! You can read about her sessions with the girls at her blog.
Lee a.k.a. Sun Lee will be in Nha Trang, Vietnam from June 19 to July 14 to compete in the beauty pageant.
Wanna know who is representing Malaysia? It's none other than Universiti Tunku Abdul Rahman student Levy Li Su Lin. You can read about the 20-year-old here or visit her blog :-).
Good luck to both beauties!

Lee Ji-Seon is HAWT!
Why is our Malaysian representative so uhhhh.....I'm not going to say it.
she looks hotter than previously. i think the beauty advisor taught her well.
hey thanks for the link Liz. i read Ines Ligron's blog. She seems to think that Miss Korea Lee Ji-seon (whom she refers to affectionately as 'Sun') has a better chance of winning than Miss Japan.
At first i thought Sun was just a pretty face, but i was touched as i read that she donated 100% of her US$ 20,000 winning prize money to a charity fund for elderly people.
apa ni? Ms Malaysia drop lah...
our miss Malaysia is so ugly... no point sending her to Vietnam... wasting time & money...
Lee Ji Seon is hot... but i think Lee Honey is hotter...
Neither of their pics are very flattering (bad lighting)
But I think I'll go with Miss K
:-)
@Orchid, yeah I was surprised to find Ignes Ligron's blog as well. If I'm not mistaken, she also coached the reigning Miss Universe Riyo Mori!
I think in that blog entry, she compared Sun Lee to another previous beauty queen from Japan, not the current competing one.
As for our own Miss Malaysia, I don't think she has the privilege of getting coaches and what nots. Poor thing also-lar, but yeah, Malaysia's chances aren't that good.
Our miss Malaysia is soo skinny.. not much sexiness left.. poor thing
lee ji seon looks like kim tae hee. LOL
Ya she's hot. But somehow getting fatter. Still nice body over there. I wish I'm in Korean, those female celebrities rocks!
Our Miss Malaysia looks like a transvestite......sorry, but it's the truth.
I was wondering why Ines Ligron
looked so familiar..wow, that's kind of weird that she's coaching for two countries. It's more like she's doing it for her own interest...I mean the more she coaches, the higher chances that one of her girls will win (since he is a good coach). But then she could have been hired..or she wants to do good by promoting the awareness of Asian female beauty and shed the stereotypes. According to a Japanese documentary about her, she stated that she wants Japanese women to accept their innner natural beauty and learn to be comfortable with expressing confidence. Stronger Asian women..that's a good thing. If she is trying to state that an Asian woman doesn't have to westernize her looks to be considered beautiful, then I guess she's a positive influence. I'm sure Ines Ligron will take on more coaching and consulting gigs in other Asian countries soon.
Urgh... I was so sure that out of all the girls vying for Miss Malaysia, tranny-faced Levy wouldn't get it... What are we? BLIND?
Hi guys,
I didn't see the other girls competing for the Miss Malaysia Universe title. There wasn't any TV broadcast of the competition right?...What am I saying, people wouldn't tune in to watch.
Were there prettier girls competing for the title? Levy looks pretty in some pictures, but not all. Some angles aren't so flattering for her :-P.
well..i do agree with some of the comments about Ms Malaysia - LevyLi..
and Malaysia HAS NEVER TO FAIL sending the MOST UGLIEST contestants to represent Malaysia in Miss Universe. but, Miss Malaysia Universe 2009-Joananabelle Ng is the best contestant Malaysia has sent for the Miss Universe Pageant. But, due to lack of preparation, she can't make it to the highest placements. We should follow how Indonesian integrates their national pageant winner-charity works, spokes person.. but not as Malaysian did; red carpet, party'ing etc..
