Hold on Fraulein,
I looked at our Discovery channel, for Monday night, and nothing but the same-old-same-old. "CrashCrab", "How We Wish it Wasn't Made", The usual "Fly-over Fare". Fooey.

Lee Byung-Hun was once dubbed as "Asia's James Dean" in France when Kim Ji Woon's noir film "Bitter sweet life" was shown in France!

By the way, Kim Ji Woon has a cult following in Europe for his classic psyco-horror film, "A Tale of two sisters," which got remade (as "THe Uninvited") in the US and topped the US box office recently.

LBH's very cool in Kim Ji-woon's another recent flick, "The Good, the Bad and the weird (AKA, Nom, nom, nom)."
Saw that film a few days ago; it's playing right now in England.

You know what?!
The shocking thing is that "The Times" mag in UK gave the rating of "4 Stars" to the film, while it gave only "2 stars" to "The Curious Case of Benjamin..." which was nomintated in 13 categories at the Oscar!

Korean films NEVER get noticed at the Academy Awards while at European film awards such as Cannes or Berlin film fests, they do.

Anyways, am looking forward to da program this Monday!!!

Hi Vic
I am from Singapore ; )

I just watched it. It is more insightful than the trite stuff JTune usually puts out. Even my dad sat down to watch some parts. He was amused that someone actually adopts a term like " Rainism "

I like the part where he had drinks with Kim Jae-dong, all the parts with JYP and the time he visits his old school, his old neighbourhood and the crematorim where his mum's ashes are kept
