Infinity Challenge team in Sepang, Malaysia

The only attractions in Sepang are the Kuala Lumpur International Airport (KLIA) and the Sepang F1 International Circuit.

So when a little bird told us that the Infinity Challenge team was filming in Sepang, we wondered why.

Bringing you the best!: The Infinity Challenge team

On Jan 7, an MBC rep said: “The Infinity Challenge team and staff have been in Malaysia since last weekend until yesterday to watch the Korean F1 qualifying race at the Sepang International Circuit.”

It is also reported that the Infinity Challenge team will be filming for their show while the qualifying race takes place.

The Korean F1 qualifying race is organised by Korean Auto Valley Operation (KAVO), which is also the outfit behind the 2010 Formula 1 Korean Grandprix.

South Korea is poised to host its very first F1 race in Youngnam, Jeolanamdo Province in Oct. A practice race is scheduled on Oct 22, a preliminary race on Oct 23 and the final race on Oct 24.

The Infinity Challenge team will then return to Korea to train at a circuit in Yongin, Gyungi Province for the F1 Grandprix.

For those not in the know, Infinity Challenge is a “real variety” programme that is largely unscripted. Its six hosts continuously entertain the audience with dirty, dangerous and difficult challenges.
