South Korean stars in Korean Flag Waving project for World Cup 2010

As Malaysians gets into the 1Malaysia spirit, South Korea already has its show of unity in the bag.

Another display of solidarity comes in the form of the Korean Flag Waving project in conjunction with the 2010 World Cup.

One spirit: South Korean stars support their soccer team

The project uses starpower to garner support for the South Korean soccer team. Since the World Cup will be held in South Africa this year, it is believed that there will be little support for the players. Thus, a documentary of sorts is being produced to rally up the much-needed support.

Taking part in raising the people’s spirit are actors Kim Min-joon and Lee Young-eun; gag man Hwang Hyun-hee, singers Jang Yoon-jung, Brown Eyed Girls’ Narsha, Super Junior’s Eeteuk, 2AM’s Jinwoon and 4Minute’s Hyuna.

The stars appeared to the press at 3:30pm on Apr 8.

The Korean Flag Waving program is set to air in South Korea in May.
