Saranghaeyo Korea Club launched in Malaysia

I guess there’s no denying that (some) Malaysians have been hit by the Korean Wave.

With so much passion for all things Korean, Korea Tourism Organisation (KTO) launched the Saranghaeyo Korea Club on May 22. It’s a supporters’ club where volunteer ambassadors help promote South Korea in Malaysia.

Saranghaeyo: 'We love you, Korea!'

Approximately 200 members attended the launch. Among other things, supporters were briefed on their roles and benefits of being part of the club. Supporters also received merchandise as well as a membership card that allows them privileges / discounts at selected Korean outlets.

The highlight of the event was performances by Korean Wave Contest 2010 runner ups Epsilon and Chrome L.

If you’re interested to be a part of Saranghaeyo Korea Club, you can register at Korea Plaza, Ground Floor, Menara Hap Seng, Kuala Lumpur, e-mail koreasupporter@gmail.com or contact KTO at +603 2072 2515.
