Speed Racer (2008)

Korean pop star Rain is currently in Berlin, Germany filming the movie Speed Racer. The movie is directed by Andy and Larry Wachowski (a.k.a. the Wachowski Brothers who brought us the Matrix trilogy).

Rain will be making his major feature film debut in Hollywood as a rival race car driver.

Word has it, that Rain is in Berlin without his usual Korean managers and is accompanied only by his bodyguard cum English tutor.

Plot Outline:
Based on the classic 1960's Japanese animated series chronicling the aspirations of a young race car driver as he attempts to obtain glory, with the help of his family and the Mach 5 (the advanced car created by his father). For more, please view IMDB.
