Kwon Sang-woo files suit against former crime boss

Hunky star Kwon Sang-woo has decided to stand up for what’s right and is suing the pants off a local mobster.

Back in February, the 31-year-old revealed that former crime boss Kim Tae-chon was trying to force him to attend a promotional event in Tokyo. Recorded phone conversations released by prosecutors revealed that Kim warned Mr. Kwon that he would come to his house and make a "bloody" scene.

However, the Hallyu star settled the case out of court saying that it was a misunderstanding and denied having been threatened.

Not anymore. Sang-woo sshi has filed a lawsuit on Sept 10 alleging that he was blackmailed by Kim (former head honcho of the Kwangju-based Seobangpa crime family).

In the lawsuit, the star is suing his former agency for not paying him his salary and is demanding that the company compensate him 1.8 billion won (ugh, my head's spinning...how much is that in RM?). He also alleges that he was threatened by Kim and that his former agent ignored his complaints about the threats. His pleas to the agency to change his agent were also ignored.

I hope Kwon Sang-woo wins the case and is represented well by his current agency & agent! Also that the mobster stops bugging him.
