Bi to record theme song for Kung Fu Panda

So, Energizer Bunny will be singing for Kung Fu Panda, huh? The 25-year-old Korean pop sensation has a not-so secret plan to record the title song for DreamWorks' new animation Kung Fu Panda.

He will be arriving in Los Angeles at 3.10pm on Nov 2 onboard Korean Air (flight KE015). Man, are the fans good or what?

Back to Kung Fu Panda. The movie, which will be released on 6 June 2008, is about the enthusiastic, big and a little clumsy Po (voiced by Jack Black - sweet!), who is an apprentice noodle maker (how cute is that?) and a huge Kung Fu fan. One day, he is unexpectedly chosen to fulfill an ancient prophecy.

He starts training alongside his idols - legendary fighters in their own right - under the leadership of Master Shifu (ha ha, who else?). But before they know it, the vengeful and treacherous snow leopard Tai Lung is headed their way and it's up to Po to defend everyone from the oncoming threat.

Apart from funnyman Black (I'll always remember his School of Rock lesson to "Stick it to the Man!") other voice talents include Jackie Chan (Master Monkey), Dustin Hoffman (Shifu), Lucy Liu (Master Viper), Ian McShane (Tai Lung) and Angelina Jolie (Master Tigress).

I like the movie's tagline: Prepare for awesomeness!

Haiyaaaaah!

I wonder if his fans will get a chance to welcome him @ LAX since all US airports have added tight securities since 9/11...anywhoo, soundtrack for KFP? If that's true, that's great for him, career-wise, right? Well, hope for the best...
