Her star is on the rise after making her acting debut opposite Mr. Hallyu Star #1, Bae Yong-joon, in Taewangsasingi (The Legend).
E Ji-ah/ Lee Ji-ah played a couple of characters in the historical drama series, which recently completed its run.
In the first few episodes, she played a female warrior. In other episodes, the 26-year-old portrayed a tomboy who falls in love with the protagonist, played by Bae.
She had this to say about her famous co-star: "Bae cares about every little thing when shooting. He is really nice to all actors and staff. Bae is a perfect man."
Offers to star in various productions have been pouring in since E made her appearance in The Legend. The newbie wants to play diverse characters, saying "I don't know what my next work will be, but I will do my best in any project."
Before making her debut in The Legend, E was a student at the Art Center College of Design in Pasadena, California. Since fame and fortune is beckoning, the actress has taken a temporary leave of absence from school.
I have not seen her work yet. But to those who have watched The Legend, is E Ji-ah someone to look out for or is the media just hyping her up?
