Rain, we know you have been inspired by Wacko Jacko, but please, you don't have to follow in his footsteps especially fashion/ image-wise. You know he has an addiction to plastic surgery, right? Not a healthy example to follow.

The Korean star appeared to the South Korean press yesterday. He has noticeably slimmed down for his role in Ninja Assassin (yeah, without the "s" as reported at Collider.com after a reporter's chat with producer Joel Silver!), but that layered hairstyle makes him look too feminine.
I guess it's a lose-lose situation with that rug on his head. If he were to tie it up and put on some glasses, he'd look like Bae Yong-joon, another Hallyu star who looks really feminine.
Rain (right) decides to steal Bae Yong-joon's look too.I miss Rain in his tastefully layered, closely cropped, highlighted hair. You know, the one he sported during the release of his Rain's World album in 2006.

Boy they are already talking about sequels to Speed Racer and Ninja Assassin!
I noticed that even though Rain would like to use his real name when it comes to movies, people usually stick to Rain and not use the more difficult Jung Ji-Hoon.
Looking forward to the Wachowski Bros movie Ninja Assassin too. It's a martial arts movie! Rain must be doing a lot of his own stunts too! Super cool!
Oh the hair? Hmm...he must have his reasons for keeping it that way. It's most probably for his character in the movie.

i'm totally agree with you guys on his hair style! but just like orchid said, he must have reasons for keeping it longer!
but i still miss his blackish short hair in AL2K... with the black suit, he just too hot to resist that time...hehehe!

I agree Orchid. Americans are TERRIBLE at remembering Asian names, myself included. Gosh are Korean names confusing!! Rain makes a statement! Jihoon Jung... not so much. I wouldn't even notice a guy named Jihoon Jung and I'm used to it!
I love that sexy long hair on him...mmm hotttt! I did have to block that mj pic cuz it was horrrrrror.... Get that image out of my mind >_<;;;; but I love that look... of course I LOVE girlie femmy boys! I think the ninja roll requires long hair which is why he will not cut it.
Lol and I hated his "I'm coming" look ughhhh. My favorite look of his was the "It's Raining" look with that cute hat and those vests <333 So awesome. But his face has aged since then so even if he did do that look again it wouldn't convey the same feeling I guess.
You are absolutely spot on with the comparison with MJ. When I watched the vid, he looked so awfully gaunt and skinny with that hair that all I want to do is feed him. I miss sexy rain. Skeletal rain, not a fan of at all.
Yes indeed, Rain kept himself updated with the latest style only when he was singing and touring! So sad!

Rain is naturally vain. He would not stop having the most stylish hair and clothes when not touring or singing! This is a phase where he chooses to have long hair - maybe due to certain circumstances. He is definitely still very stylish.

I still miss his style when filming the drama A Love To Kill ¨Sigh¨.
I know the reason for him to look like he spent a month or two in jail w/o food or a comb or a hair salon or.... is because he is filming his upcoming movie... But oh Lord how I want hot Rain-Bi-Pi-Jung Ji Hoon or whatever his name is back! ^^

I totally agree with Wawa - that bodyguard style in ALTK is my all time fave look - so irresistible !
I like a few of his looks - the sang-doo look, the young-jae look in Full House etc but the Bokgu look and the one he used to launch his 4th album rank right up there!
