It's about time Top Hallyu star Bae Yong-joon gets his share of airtime on Malaysian TV :-). Read on to find out what Yonsama shows are about to be shown:
Title: Taewangsashinki/ The Legend (2007)
Date: June 30, 2008 onwards
Time: 10.30pm - 11.30pm
Channel: Astro Shuang Xing (Channel 324)
Audio/Subs: Your choice of Korean or Mandarin audio with either Bahasa Malaysia or Chinese subtitles.
Bae Yong-joon's fantastical epic drama will be aired on Astro Shuang Xing tonight! However, the bad news is, you'll have to be a subscriber of the New Emperor package to be able to access the channel. We didn't purchase it, so no Bae Yong-joon to watch tonight.
According to Yokee of BYJ's Malaysia Family, there will be 32 episodes as the series has been edited from the original 24 to better fit the time slot.
Title: Winter Sonata (2002)
Date: July 5 (Sat), 12, 19 & 26
Time: 10am onwards
Channel: KBS World (Channel 303)
In celebration of KBS World's 5th anniversary, the Bae Yong-joon/ Choi Ji-woo smash hit drama Winter Sonata will be aired every Saturday in July. Four episodes will be aired consecutively from 10am onwards!
Ah, excellent for me as I have not watched the series...oh no, wait, I have something on this Saturday...ack! And I don't have Astro Maxx! I guess no BYJ for me this week :-(.
Anyway, if that's still not enough, you can always join the BYJ Malaysia Family. Did you know that during their recent party to celebrate the Family's 5th anniversary, the gals received an autographed picture from hunky oppa himself? Mmm hmmm, check it out below ;-).

Hey Liz, we can still catch 1 hour of Winter Sonata if they are showing 4-hours of it on Saturday.
Yeah we don't have Dynasty so cannot watch The Legend. :-P

I'm not really a fan of BYJ after winter sonata.. can't really understand why people go ga ga over him after that series.. But i must admit i fell in love with him in 'The Legend'. well.. cud be bcoz i like saguek drama. i love the fighting scene and him looks so cool, macho and ect.. hehe..he's so hard to resist after all
@Orchid & Coro, The Legend is not in the Dynasty package...it's under the New Emperor package :-). Those Chinese channel packages are mega-packages, right? Kinda pricey. :-(

new emperor package is not included with the dynasty which is very expensive. i think it only cost about RM21.90 for new emperor package as opposed to the RM40++(?) for the dynasty package.
The only thing I've seen BYJ in so far was "The Legend". I thought it was a good show....I hope they do the rumored second season.

if anyone want to see it with english subs you can go to veoh they have them~

weeee...i just finished watching this superb epic drama yesterday! since it's totally expensive for us to buy (it has been divided to 2 parts with 16 eps each), so i rented it from Video Ezy...
1st part took me one week to finish it since i only managed to watch it at night only and finished the 1st part on saturday! so, yesterday,i returned the 1st part and rent the 2nd part... i started to watch it around 12pm & finished it around 2am... 14 hours marathon from 12pm-2am... hahaha! crazeee me!
great-great drama! BYJ as expected, delivered the character very well as King Damduk... and BYJ really has this 'aura' as a warrior! i never thought that i will love this drama... everything in this drama is just very extraordinary! 32 episodes might be long but each episode of it was very detailed & not boring @ all...
highly recommended! 8.5 out of 10 starts...the 1.5 gone because the ending was way too sad!
