There is no denying Bae Yong-joon's starpower.
Tourism to South Korea has increased because of Hallyu Stars, what more from the numero uno superstar - Mr. Bae.
And with that, the 36-year-old kajillionaire has been appointed as the face of South Korean tourism.
The lunchbox seller, who is also the new face of The Face $hop, received a plaque from none other than the First Lady of South Korea Kim Yoon-ok this morning at the Lotte Hotel in Seoul.
Honoured: Bae (right) receives a cement block...no wait, it'sa plaque...from the First Lady of South Korea.
Good news for tourism in Korea, but bad news for us foreigners. Plane ticket prices to South Korea and such will only be on the rise. Sigh.
Name tag: Even top Hallyu Stars need to wear an identity tagat events honouring them.
Introduction: 'Hello, I'm Bae Yong-joon and I'll make you wannacome to South Korea.'
In sync: 'Yeap, I'm even planning a photobook withcontribution from my fans.'

Did Bae Young Joon replace Rain as the Korea tourism ambassador? I remember Rain being the ambassador at one point. Anyway, i think Mr Bae will do a good job.
