First we reported on Rain and Pizza Hut. Now fast-rising South Korean actor Lee Min-ho has been roped in by Dunkin' Donuts for its new flower-shaped doughnut called Flower Tart.
Food: 'Doughnuts anyone? They're on me.'The Flower Tart is apparently a tie-in to the hype surrounding popular KBS drama Boys Over Flowers, which Lee stars in. The 22-year-old was in Apgujeong-dong on Feb 24 for the photoshoot.
First bite: A 'Flower Boy' biting into a Flower Tart.The Flower Tart comes in two jam toppings – strawberry and blueberry.
So here’s the question again. Will Lee Min-ho make you change your preference? :-P.
The Malaysia scenario: Dunkin’ Donuts seems to be kow-towing to its competitors such as J.Co Donuts and Big Apple Donuts.
Apart from that, I’ve seen a Krispy Kreme franchise (which was still under construction) at Berjaya Times Square last year. I don’t know how popular Krispy Kreme will be when it opens locally, but I had a couple of the Original Glazed doughnuts when I was in Seoul last November and it was yummy-licious.

Tried KK when i was in Jakarta.. Like it and its really yummy.. Here, i choose J.Co over Big Apple. Chewwwy doughnut.. luv it.

krispy kreme rocks!!! the only good thing at dunkin donuts were their bavarian creme filled powder sugar donut holes...it's a better version of a creme puff...so evil yet so good. BUT they don't make them anymore!!! so dunkin donuts is worthless to me...and lee min ho ain't gonna change that! :P
I hate to be the one to break the bad news, but Krispy Kremes is predicted to file bankruptcy in the near future by experts. Numerous locations have already closed and its stocks are hitting major lows.
Now if only Starbucks will also go to hell.
