World Star Rain (Jung Ji-hoon) is the face and body of Korea's new cosmetics brand Nature Republic.
Rain shows off his famous body in a series of black and white photos for Nature Republic's website.
What is the brand's philosophy? It says on the Nature Republic website:
"Nature Republic", based on Mother nature's law, is a new cosmetic brand, created by combining both state-of-the-art technology as well as natural substances of the utmost quality.
My abs are not photoshopped...it's all natural I tell you...
The arty pictures were shot in Brisbane, Australia with the forest as an amazing backdrop. Rain, bare chest and feet walks through the serene forest, becomes one with nature.
This is the first of a series of ads and CF that Rain will be doing for Nature Republic (네이처 리퍼블릭). He has inked a two year contract with the cosmetics brand for a cool 1.5 billion won. Kaching!

Nature Republic opened its first store in Myeongdong, Seoul in March 2009. By middle of the year, 100 stores will be in operation and the goal is to open 300 stores by end of the year. A very aggressive plan I would say.

Agree with comment #2. Rain is definitely a POSER. He lives for media cameras. No media camera? Chances are he will snub you LOL so approach him with caution!
Nature Republic is owned by the same group that manages Face Shop ^^. Now you understand why they have the $$ to hire Rain.

hmm, i wasn't the one who said he was a poser, but i think the person who did say that didn't mean that he poses for pictures.
about the avvie; i don't know why rain's so sensitive about people using his pics, either. that's just his policy, not mine. go to rain-usa and read up on it. he doesn't want his fans using his pictures without the consent of jtunes. strange.

i agree with you. no celebrity would want anyone profiting off of his/her image, but rain takes it a step further than that. his policy doesn't even mention money. it is actually aimed at his own fan clubs and blog sites, and states that if anyone uses his likeness in making "diary" and "calendar" (and i suppose other things as well) for their fan clubs, they should stop that.
just one of the reasons why i don't like him. his fans don't use his pictures for money. they use it to promote him, but he says not to do that. why?
ya...they made diary and calendar which look nice enough for selling u see...anyone look at it will think it might be on sale...but it's actually fan made.And last time the fan club did come out with some merchandise which got his faces on...and becoz of the copyright problem, he have to come out with such a policy. Ya. we use it for promoting Rain. But on the other hand, promoting is promoting but still have to follow the law for copyright...we might not use the fan made stuffs for money but other parties will.I don't see any problem with his action taken.
Rain is sexy. i was watching rains performance in all korea Movie awards, and I think its funny to see those actresses looking so amazed, so hot and with flirtatious looks on Rain while he was singing and dancing on stage. I can see how most wanted he is among all the girls in Korea and all over the world whi knows him. stay cool rain.
