Lee Young-yoo joins BOF Entertainment

The talent agency headed by Hallyu superstar Bae Yong-joon has snapped up a young talent named Lee Young-yoo. The 10-year-old, who is dubbed South Korea's Dakota Fanning (really?), has inked an exclusive contract with BOF Entertainment.

Cutie pie: Lee Young-yoo has joined BOF Entertainment

Lee Young-yoo has appeared in two SBS dramas - the 2004 Rays of Sunshine where she played Song Hye-kyo's little sister and the 2005 Mr. Housewife/ Bad Wife where she played the daughter to actors Sohn Chang-min and Shin Aera. The young actress also appeared in the 2007 movie Herb.

Lee Young-yoo is currently working on the drama 돌아온 뚝배기 (what does that translate to?).

Congratulations to the young lass. I'm sure 아저씨 Bae Yong-joon and his team will help mold and shape her acting career.

there was a drama back in the day called 서울 뚝배기 and they remade it, which is why it's called 돌아온 뚝배기. i believe a 뚝배기 is the black earthenware bowl they use to serve many hot korean dishes. in the drama the story revolves around the lives of the people working at a restaurant (called 서울 뚝배기) that specializes in 설렁탕.

that girl is so cute in the drama! (she's the daughter of the lady who owns the cafe across from the restaurant). her & the little boy in the drama are both amazing little actors!

Dakota Fanning is WAY TOO GOOD to be compared to.

I wish Koreans stop dubbing their Korean stars with international stars. In my opinion, the way they dub the celebrities, they have inferior complex whether they admit it or not.
